How do I start a volunteer community in my own town, like the Wayland Angels, and how much time will it take? We are happy to help you bring this model to your own community. In a recent survey of existing volunteer communities that have started, results told us that it has taken coordinators an average of 6 hours to get up and running and an average of 30 minutes each week to oversee the operation in your own town.  This model is a simple concept that costs nothing and brings together many caring neighbors who want to help others with neighbors in need, touching the lives of many.
