Words cannot express my gratitude for the outpouring of food and affection you have shown my family in the last few weeks. There were days when I could not have put together anything for dinner and there you were ready to fill the void. It has been especially helpful for me to be able to have my mother over for dinner when a meal came, as she struggles with the loneliness from the loss of her life partner. My sister bravely continues her 6-year battle with ovarian cancer. She is home again with nursing care hoping to regain some strength to continue her struggle. I plan to go to Chicago again soon to be with her. Again, thank you for your delicious meals. Your generosity is truly appreciated. —AMG

You were such a help to us in providing so many tasty meals that I never would have had the energy to 'pull off' after spending the day either at the hospital or driving my husband to the many doctor/hospital appointments that he had. Just a note to tell you how amazing and wonderful it was to be visited today, my husband's first day back at work in over a year, my first entire day alone in that long. I was so touched by the visit, the valentine's cards, loaf of bread…everything. It was especially sweet for me that the girls came to walk our dog. Our dog Lani was delighted and the girls seemed to enjoy it as well. Thanks so very much. There are truly angels! —SM

A mother here from Australia caring for her daughter, a mother of 3. "The beautiful chocolate covered strawberries were the best thing that could have happened today. It made my daughter so very happy." And then she added…"One of your angels saw me at CVS today picking up some things for my daughter. Because I am not driving here in the states, your angel drove me back home to get some paperwork I forgot for my errand to the post office. I will be staying longer to care for my daughter and must extend my visa. She gave me a ride back to the post office. These are my guardian angels. This community is so wonderful. What you are doing with this (the Wayland Angels) is truly amazing." —Marie

The meals have been a God send!!!!. It's really helped free up some time so I can help my husband with his physical and occupational therapy exercises when I get home from work instead of heading to the supermarket or trying to cook something every evening. —MA
